As the episode opens, Maki Itokazu, Kio's teacher, heads to a bar to meet up with the other members of her group Beautiful Contact. The group refuses to believe that the Catheans could look and act so much like humans, and they strongly believe that humanity's first official contact with aliens should be different than these beings, to the point where they all grab a gun in their plan to possibly kill Eris just to hide her from the world. Meanwhile, Eris is practically orgasming over the new Earth food Kio has been feeding her.
The next day, with the help of special cat-like robots called Assistaroids, Eris and Kio head to the library to research more things about Earth for Eris's mission. Meanwhile, Kio's friends Aoi and Minami are spying on the two of them for different organizations. That night, terrorists from Beautiful Contact surround and attack the two. Aoi easily beats most of the terrorists down with her special suit, but when she sets her sights on Eris, Kio grabs her leg and begs her not to kill the catgirl though he doesn't realize who is really in the suit. Aoi can't bring herself to kill either of them, and aborts the mission on her own.
Suddenly, both Kio and Eris are hit by tranq darts, and Eris gets kidnapped while Kio gets rescued by his uncle. However, when he wakes up, Kio tries to rally his uncle, Aoi and Minami to help him rescue Eris. He finds out that Minami was the one who kidnapped Eris in order to try and get a foot in the door with the CIA station on the island, and asks her for Eris's location.
Eventually, all of the aforementioned characters and Eris's Assistaroids band together to cause panic at the US military base and rescue Eris in the confusion, but Eris activates her own powersuit's functions and breaks out herself by the time Kio makes it into the base. The girls realize that this act probably means the end of their respective careers, but they go along with it. Just as American tanks are rolling towards them, Eris and the Assistaroids each summon a magical-girl hammer from out of nowhere and each smack a tank with it, causing them to dematerialize on the spot and vanish into thin air.
The US government spins the attack as a training accident after the main cast escapes, and Eris talks about leaving the house now that her mission is complete. However, as the episode ends, Eris's fellow crewmates decide to appear on Earth and make themselves known to the Japanese government after reading her glowing reports about Earth food.
