I am Legend!

I am Legend! is an anime episode of Basquash! that was released on 04/02/2009

Basquash begins on the planet Earthdash, where people are watching the World Series match of Bigfoot Basketball (BFB), basketball played while in giant robots. Dunk Mask, the secret identity of the boy Dan JD, destroys the huge TV monitor on which the game is being shown. He detests both the Bigfoot mechas as well as BFB for an unknown reason, though it relates to his sister being injured and losing her ability to walk. While playing basketball, Dan meets, unknowingly, his childhood lover, Miyuki. She takes him home, and shows him how to ride a bigfoot. Surprisingly to Dan, it is much more exciting than he had thought. Miyuki gives Dan tickets to see the local game of BFB. However, the game lives up to Dan's expectations: it is utterly boring. After compaining about how clumsy the bigfoot players are, Dan is grabbed by Miyuki and brought back to the bigfoot he rode. He dramatically enters the game, and attempts a dunk. It is blocked at the last second by a player on one of the BFB teams. Dan is arrested and jailed for a year. When he leaves jail, Dan is stunned to discover that BFB is now a commonly played sport and that he, for his stunt at the game, has become a legend.
