An object that when worn by a human being, grants the wearer the abilities to surround themselves in high tech armor, and shapeshift into a form capable of linking with a Transtector mech.

Although the term is frequently used in Japan to refer to a PC ("personal computer"), in English it refers primarily to the humanoid computers found in CLAMP's Chobits.

A usually headless robot body designed to be connected to and controlled by a smaller robot who either connects to become the head or engine block of the larger Transtector mech. Humans wearing a Master Brace can also connect to one.
