Plot Summary

Back to Loke and Caprico's battle, Caprico sends Samui at Loke. Samui fires arrows at Loke who destroys it. Somehow, his arrow flies like a homing arrow, and Loke destroys it with rubble. After Loke defeats Samui, Caprico sends a group of humans at him, but Loke defeats it easily. Loke learns that Caprico is Layla's former Celestial Spirit and asks him why. Caprico responds by laughing. Meanwhile, Natsu and Happy go after Ultear (Zalty)'s scent. Natsu falls down and slides quickly down the hill until he falls on the ground. He finds Zeref sleeping by the tree. Suddenly, the ground rumbles and a tree almost hits Natsu by sprouting from the ground. Ultear explains about how her Time Ark affects the future, and Natsu realize that she is the same person as Zalty. Ultear introduces herself and Zeref which Natsu messes up her name. Ultear has her glass orb levitate from her gaunlet before she fights Natsu.

In the swamps, Meldy, Erza, and Juvia get ready to battle. Before that happens, Juvia has a strange dream of Gray who embraces Juvia and confess his love for him. Somehow, the two love birds are naked. The dream ends as Erza wakes her. Meldy attacks first with a rain of swords. Juvia finds her ability negated and the swords hit her body. Meldy states that her swords target pain. In Loke's battle, Capricorn summons his human subordination magic that surrounds Loke in a mist. Loke realizes that a human has possessed Caprico and punches Caprio. However, the person states that it's too late. In the forest, Lucy senses Loke is in trouble, but Cana tells her that they get in Loke's way while Gray reassures Lucy. They continued running.

Among the ruins, Loke gets possessed, and the person talks about how if he kills Lucy, he can be the perfect human. Suddenly, Caprico fires a punch through Loke's body. Zoldeo shoots out of Loke's body in smokes. Caprico states that Loke gave Caprico, the power of Regulus. Even though Zoldeo has a human form, his body begins to break down which Loke states that it's the punishment for breaking the rules. Then, Caprico begins to explain to Loke about what has happened 20 years ago. In the flashback, Layla sends Cancer, Aquarius, and Caprico to her servants. One of the servants is Zoldeo, and Caprio made a pledge to protect Layla's family for an eternity. This is how Caprico is Lucy's master. For Zoldeo, he got corrupted by dark magic and did the taboo by merging with Caprico. In the woods, Lucy gets a signal in her keys and learns that Loke has won and that Caprico's on their side. Gray realizes that his partner is out of commission. When Cana is reminded about the S- Class, Cana tells them to split up to find the Seven Kin Purgatory. When Gray resists, she fondles Lucy's breasts and asks him if he's scared of doing it alone. With Gray agreeing, Cana and Lucy go in a pair and Gray goes off on his own.

Back to Natsu's battle with Ultear, Natsu smashes Ultear's glass orb only to find many of them in front of him. Ultear states that she can create many futures and make them converge into one future. She showers the orbs onto Natsu. At the camp, Lisanna and Levy stand besides Gajeel and Mirajane who are resting in the bed. Elfman appears with Evergreen in his arms, and he shouts that he has failed. Levy talks about how the exam split them up and says that if they can combine their powers, they could win. Somewhere on the island, Cana still seeks Mavis's grave. Lucy talks about how she finds a six lettered word that relates to grave, demise. She points to the letter E and how one of the path, E, could be the path that leads to Mavis's grave. Yet, Cana makes Lucy fall asleep. Before she leaves Lucy, she apologizes. Kain appears in front of Lucy who is helpless in her current situation.
