Horo takes on the form of a teenage girl when interacting with humans. Only her ears and tail remain visible when she is in human form. The Wise Wolf of Yoitsu
Horo is a centuries-old wolf harvest deity who used to create good harvests for the village of Pasroe. When the villagers started to become less dependent on her, Horo chose to leave the village and return to her homeland in the north with the traveling merchant, Craft Lawrence. In return for journeying with him, Horo offers her years of wisdom and trickery to assist Lawrence with his trading. Horo is normally haughty and self-sufficient, but often shows feelings of loneliness as a result of the many years she was left isolated in Pasroe.
