The Wise Wolf of Yoitsu

Horo is a centuries-old wolf harvest deity who used to create good harvests for the village of Pasroe. When the villagers started to become less dependent on her, Horo chose to leave the village and return to her homeland in the north with the traveling merchant, Craft Lawrence. In return for journeying with him, Horo offers her years of wisdom and trickery to assist Lawrence with his trading. Horo is normally haughty and self-sufficient, but often shows feelings of loneliness as a result of the many years she was left isolated in Pasroe. Her continued traveling with Lawrence brings the two closer together.

Horo takes on the form of a teenage girl when interacting with humans. Only her ears and tail remain visible when she is in human form. Horo can transform into a giant wolf by either eating a piece of grain or feeding on human blood. She is very fond of having apples and alcohol and her style of speech is based off high-class oiran courtesans.
