Grell & Sebastian Fighting
The Jack the Ripper case (and related events) is recapped in the beginning of the episode. The battle commences between Grell and Sebastian. Grell says that the events between himself and Sebastian are like Romeo and Juliet. He later says that Sebastian's demon side likes to befoul pure souls and that he wants to bear children. Sebastian is disgusted yet again.

Grell in dispair
Sebastian gets brutally cut and his memories flood out of last year but the rest of his past is not shown. Sebastian sticks his jacket into Grell's chainsaw and stops it from working. Sebastian starts using physical combat to attack Grell mercilessly. As Sebastian was about to give the final blow with Greil's own weapon, a pole struck between them by a supervisor of the Reaper Dispatch Organization named William T. Spears.

William, Sebastian & Grell
William starts explaining the violations that Grell has done. Sebastian says to keep an eye on Grell because humans are easily tempted but William says that demons are more likely to tempt humans. Sebastian doesn't deny his claim as William drags Grell away. Ciel almost faints but then he spouts he can stand on his own and that he's just fatigued.

At Madam Red's Funeral
Two brothers and their sister are running across a church as they hear the bells ringing. The Undertaker explains that the "grandest" party is being held for a lady since it's her final and largest ceremony (a funeral). The church ceremony has Madam Red in a casket with lots of white flowers. Ciel enters with a red dress and approaches the casket. He lays the dress down along with a red flower next to Madam Red's ear as he pays his respects. Ciel's workers of the house are sitting outside the church as they think about Madam Red.

Lau, Ciel & Sebastian
The scene cuts to Ciel, Sebastian, and Lau as Ciel explains that there is no need to give the identity of Jack the Ripper to the Queen since all she requested was the end of the case. Lau says that Ciel is just the Queen's "Guard Dog." Ciel, Sebastian, and the Undertaker visit Mary Jane Kelly's grave, the last of Jack the Ripper's victims. Ciel explains that he has the duty to deal with the Queen because the Phantomhives have been doing it for generations.
Sebastian says that Ciel gave Mary a grave out of kindness. When Ciel denies the act of kindness, Sebastian says it's a sign of weakness then. Sebastian asks Ciel if he was afraid to kill Madam Red with his own hands or someone close. Ciel says it's because it's Sebastian's job to do it since Sebastian will protect Ciel's life and that demons only have principles to fufill not loyalties. Sebastian smiles and comments how Ciel uses his pawns (himself, Madam Red, etc) within his reach. Ciel orders Sebastian to not betray him and to be by his side no matter what.
