Himekawa was the second member of the Touhoushinki that Oga faced off against, resorting to underhanded tactics to prevent Oga from defeating him in battle. He kidnapped Furuichi and Hildagarde, holding them against their will in an attempt to lure Oga into battle to humble him.Oga then snuck into Himekawa's hideout by staying inside Alaindelon, then popping out as Furuichi called for his help. He then engaged in battle with Oga after insulting his friends.
Himekawa hangs defeated.
During this battle, Himekawa kept an 8-mm thick ceramic tile under his shirt in an attempt to injure Oga so that he could not fight back. He also made use of a stun baton that could conduct a million volts of electricity. However, these measures didn't work as planned. First, the ceramic tile only served to hinder Oga slightly, and didn't inflict any major damage on him. Second, Oga was able to resist the electricity stemming from the stun baton, saying that it was "nothing compared to Baby Beel". He was then made the first victim of the Zebub Blast.
Kanzaki and Himekawa fighting over a banana despite their injuries.
Due to Oga's attacks,Himekawa was forced to share a hospital room with Kanzaki, another member of the Touhoushinki, and proceeded to argue with him. Still, he ended up becoming more positive after that.
St. Ishiyama Arc
While recovering from the wounds Oga inflicted on him, Himekawa's attitude became slightly more positive alongside Kanzaki's. He joined the rest of the Ishiyama High students during their temporary transfer to St. Ishiyama Academy after the explosion that destroyed their school, and even defended Aoi from an attack by one of the Six Knights of St. Ishiyama.
He was also involved in the Volleyball Match that took place during the School Festival, being fooled into joining by a film of the Six Knights practicing, with voices dubbed over to make it seem like they were insulting the Ishiyama Highstudents. Himekawa was also forced to comb his hair down and remove his signature shades for the practices, which revealed his true " bishie" appearance, and made him almost unrecognizable.
Demon Invasion Arc
During the latest arc,Himekawa is working alongside Furuichi, Kanzaki, Lamia, Nene, Chiaki, Natsume, and two other Ishiyama students to help locate and defeat Beel's brother, Lord En, in a video game competition to win his support. Himekawa allows the other students to use his rooms in a high-rise condominium as a home base and location for the match to take place, stacked with high-spec video game equipment. His in-game avatar has also retained his previously revealed " bishie" appearance.
Although he and the rest of the Ishiyama High students fight valiantly, it is revealed that Lord En's team cheated and hacked the game. To counter this, Himekawa simply bought the entire game so that he could mod it without there being any repercussions. The Ishiyama High team were able to win because they came back as zombies, as well as by having five robots that combined into one Voltes V-esque robot.
