HEROMAN

Joey Jones is a good kid with rotten luck: he works hard, but somehow he always winds up getting bullied or worse. One day he picks up an expensive toy that his wealthy classmates accidentally destroyed, and he takes it home and repairs it. He names the toy -- a small robot -- Heroman, and scampers off to his next job. Unfortunately, he leaves the window open, and the robot gets soaked AND hit by lightning.

But then something weird happens: the robot grows, and comes to life.

Joey quickly learns that he can control Heroman, and together the duo help fight against the invasion of the Skrugg, an alien race of cockroach-like beings who have come to Earth with the intent to destroy any and all opposition to their quest for dominance.
