The descendants of Abraham Van Helsing have still been fighting vampires ever since his time. Generations have been bred to take on the legacy, now its fallen to Integra Fairbrook Wingates Hellsing. Her father, Arthur, worked on a project to create a perfect vampire to fight the rest. In this, the secret creature was locked away until Integra needed him. Alucard now fights alongside Integra and his own servant, Seras against the powers of evil. But alls not well when these new 'fake' vampires come out to play...
The first showing of The Hellsing Anime was in 2001 on Fuji Televison directed by Chiaki J Konaka. It ran for one year and lasted a total of 13 episodes and came to the west in October 2003 untill December the same year and was distributed by Pioneer Entertainment and later Funimation.
