Age Change

When a character changes their age, either growing older or younger, and typically not simply by having time pass but as the result of some power or outside source.

Antagonist

The main opposing force of a story. Normally the antagonist is a villain but other forms of fiction may have them as heroes or indifferent characters.

Anti-Hero

A kind of Hero who has rather questionable methods and motives. He may have good goals but does evil things for it or being totally selfish but saves the day somehow.

Anti-Villain

A villain with heroic goals.

Back to life

Also known as resurrection. This is when a previously dead character is restored back to life.

Drifters

Many heroes and great warriors from different eras and cultures seem to have been brought to this new world by Murasaki, where they are meant to fight the Offscourings. A common element to the Drifters is that although they are driven by violence, victory, and conquest, they are not cruel; they love to fight and win, but do not care about hurting innocents.

Ends

The opposing force in this world, the Offscourings are, like the Drifters, mainly composed of powerful historical figures who died under unorthodox and often violent circumstances. Unlike the Drifters, however, the Offscourings are humans that have forsaken their humanity, and are thus capable of using supernatural powers. Now, Offscourings are driven completely by an intense hate for everything. They seem to have been brought into the new world by Easy, who is at odds with Murasaki.

Extreme Violence

It's use can be intended to be shockingly disturbing or hilariously absurd.

Flashback

Used frequently in Anime to either recap past events or provide a back story for a character, either their origin story or their off-screen training of new attack. Sometime and entire episode/chapter would be a entire flashback.

The scientific process of messing with the genetics of an organism.

Ghosts

A ghost is a dead persons spirit that roams the earth usually attached to where they died or refusing to go to the after life until there are finished on earth.

Hellsing

"We are on a mission from God." Hellsing's Motto. The Organization of the Hellsing family and it's purpose is to hunt down and kill the supernatural foes who threaten England

An act when someone gives up something of great importance for a greater good.

The ability to live beyond a regular human's lifespan.

The Catholic counterpart and rival of Hellsing despite being allies,Iscariot is the secret black ops team of the Vatican. Charged with killing heretics and freaks, it is a deadly force directly under the Pope's orders; many of its soldiers are quite insane themselves.

The tale of how a hero or villain came to be who they are.

Orte Empire

The Orte Empire is a country that was established by Hitler. It expanded through the conquest of neighboring territories and continues to adhere to Hitler's principles, which involves the persecution of non-human races.

Priest

The character is working as a priest, a guide and teacher of God. Often leads holy rituals such as marriage and burials.

Protagonist

The main character of a story or plot. Most forms of fiction have the protagonist as a hero but there are rare occasions with an evil or not-so-noble protagonist.

The ability to repair or heal oneself, particularly at an accelerated or unusual rate.

Regenerator

bio tech engineered humans with Regeneration and enhanced abilities by nano technology most notably from Hellsing they are technically considered to be Cyborgs due to their artificial enhancements.

Rivals are competitor to someone. Unlike an enemy, rivals could have similar goals but disagree on the process.
