Used frequently in Anime to either recap past events or provide a back story for a character, either their origin story or their off-screen training of new attack. Sometime and entire episode/chapter would be a entire flashback.

The scientific process of messing with the genetics of an organism.

A ghost is a dead persons spirit that roams the earth usually attached to where they died or refusing to go to the after life until there are finished on earth.

The character is working as a priest, a guide and teacher of God. Often leads holy rituals such as marriage and burials.

The main character of a story or plot. Most forms of fiction have the protagonist as a hero but there are rare occasions with an evil or not-so-noble protagonist.

The ability to repair or heal oneself, particularly at an accelerated or unusual rate.

Regenerator

bio tech engineered humans with Regeneration and enhanced abilities by nano technology most notably from Hellsing they are technically considered to be Cyborgs due to their artificial enhancements.

Rivals are competitor to someone. Unlike an enemy, rivals could have similar goals but disagree on the process.
