Hello Kitty has a large round head, black oval shaped eyes, no mouth, and a large flower or bow tie on her left ear. Hello Kitti's usual attire is a "girly" outfit with a pink skirt over a darker pink long sleeve shirt, and sometimes Hello Kitti will either have a bowtie or a kind of flower on her left ear with her outfit. There is a Hello Kitty themed resturant called "Hello Kitti sweets" located in Taipei Taiwan. All the dishes patterned with Hello Kitti features. There is also a maternity hospital in Yuanlin, Taiwan, Hello Kitty is featured on the blankets, room walls, bed linens, birth certificate covers, and nurses' uniforms. The hospital owner explained that he hoped that it would help lessen the stress of childbirth.
