Episode Synopsis

Luffy has crashed into Boa Hancock's bath and seen something on her back that he recognized. Her sister, Marigold and Sandersonia, burst in to see what the commotion is about. They are shocked to learn Luffy saw her back. She says she would rather die then let anyone see what is on her back.

Hancock aims and uses her Love-Love Beam on Luffy. He mistakes it for the Slow-Slow Beam of the pirate Foxy. It it's Luffy and he thinks he will slow down but nothing happens. Hancock tries again bit still nothing. Everyone present is confused.

Seems Luffy isn't thinking any impure thoughts after seeing Hancock in the bath.

Luffy doesn't understand what is being talked about, but takes the chance to run. He wants to find someone important to talk to. He jumps through a window and out the palace.

Hancock takes aim at him with her finger and uses an attack called Pistol Kiss. She fires twice. They hit Luffy and don't bounce off.

Luffy crashes behind the blockade. Hancock orders the Kuja Amazons to capture him.

Ran is the first on the scene of his landing spot. She demands his surrender as she aims with bow and arrow. Luffy asks if they are the all woman pirates, and asks where their boss is. She refuses to answer and fires. Ran misses and Luffy is on the run again. he uses a Gum-Gum Rocket to launch himself away.

Word is now out that there is a man in the village. Granny Nyon overhears the announcement.

Margaret, Kikyo Sweatpea, and Aphelandra all have returned to the village to find the commotion. It's Aphelandra that spots Luffy on the peak of a building.

Luffy is looking around when he's shot at again. Luffy leaps to safety, but lands behind members of the Kuja Pirates.

Once more Luffy escapes. He spots some meat on a table and steals it. It was from Granny Nyon, but she recognizes Luffy from the paper she's been reading. She calls after him, but he can't stop. She leaps forward and kicks Luffy square in the back. He crashes and falls.

Luffy is swiftly surrounded.

Later, Luffy has been captured and brought to some sort of arena. He's bound by snakes as hard as iron. A squeal breaks out among the crowd as Boa Hancock arrives.

She asks Luffy both how and why he came to Amazon Lily. He tries to explain he doesn't understand, but she says he's lying.

Luffy asks for a ride somewhere. The crowd shouts Luffy down that he must be a liar.

Margaret, who is in the audience, remembers Luffy being nice to her and wanting to see his friends again. She is feeling more and more guilty as the crowd is against him, but she knows he's telling the truth. She stands and asks Hancock to wait on his execution.

Everyone is shocked at her announcement. She steps forward and jumps to where Luffy is sitting, and defends him. She says that he is telling the truth.

Hancock asks why she is defending him when he was sentenced to death for walking on the island. Margaret admits that she was the one who saved him and brought him to the village. Swiftly, Sweatpea and Aphelandra join her. They try and explain how they found him covered in mushrooms and didn't even know he was a man.

Hancock stands and approaches the platform. Slowly she walks to the Amazons and says it's all right. She says she likes honest people. She asks if they want forgiveness and tells them to stand.

Hancock face chances and she fires her Love-Love beam at Margaret, Sweatpea, and Aphelandra; and turns them to stone.

Luffy is shocked to see what happened. Boa is casually walking back to her seat when Luffy shouts at her. He tells her to change them back.

Hancock orders Bakula be brought out. It's the name of a giant black panther. The iron snakes and removed to Luffy can fight. Hancock and her sisters try to taunt Luffy about Bakula's strength, but he ignores it and just wants Margaret and the others to be changed back.

The panther attack, but Luffy knocks it out of the ring with a single strike. Everyone who witnesses it is awestruck. Ran comments that he didn't even use Haki, but sheer strength.

Luffy is now angry at everyone there for laughing when Hancock changed their friends to stone. Hancock tells him she she's forgiven for everything, because she's beautiful. She asks if he in the same. He tells her she pisses him off.

Hancock orders her sisters to take Luffy's head. They jump into the ring and both change into giant snake women, and the crowd calls for Luffy's death.

Points of Interest

  • In the Japanese version when Luffy is asking for the ride. He's addressing Hancock by using the term "Omai". It's used in very informal speech and the Amazons are offended he's speaking to Hancock as if she is some kind of equal. People of royal status are normally spoken to with high levels of formality.
