Hayao Miyazaki

Ghibli World reminds us that today is famed anime auteur Hayao Miyazaki's 68 birthday, and the site has even offered us a birthday gift for the man...uh, if that makes any sense. Anyway, they've reminded us of this article, which features some really beautiful hi-resolution images from Miyazaki's latest film, Ponyo on a Cliff by the Sea.

So on behalf of the Vice Squad, permit me to say: otanjoubi omedetou gozaimasu, Miyazaki-sensei! (And now you know how to say happy birthday in Japanese.)

maxwell: only if they have Japanese fonts installed...it's not a default on Windows machines :)

Happy B-day,

on the side note, it just me or is Miyazaki making is own version of a yellow submarine. That the first thing that came in my mind went i saw the 2 screen pic.
