The story of a hard-working female magazine editor struggling to balance her job and home life.
Overview
Hiroko is a 28-year-old editor who works at the weekly magazine "Jidai." She is incredibly dedicated to her job, to the point where her colleagues claim that she has a Hataraki Man ("hard-working man") switch where she focuses on work to the exclusion of all else until she's finished. Despite her success at work, her social life is pretty slim outside of gatherings with fellow co-workers. Her boyfriend Shinji is a traveling salesman, and it seems like when one of them is in the mood to go out the other is busy.
