Owner of Hinata Cafe and Keitaro's "Aunt"
Haruka is a distant cousin and aunt of  Keitaro Urashima's who owns the nearby  Hinata Tea Shop. Watching over the  Hinata-sou , Haruka keeps a cool, calm demeanor as she often provides advice to the inn residents. However, she does get annoyed by Keitaro when he makes the mention of her being his aunt and normally proceeds to slam Keitaro as a result. She has had a past relationship with  Seta Noriyasu which is only hinted at in the anime and explored more in-depth in the manga.     
 
In the manga she winds up marrying Seta.
