Hanasakeru Seishounen might seem your average Reverse Harem...but what if it's not?
Story (8/10) Unlike most other Revere Harems this one doesn't contain any superpowers, time traveling etc but it's set in nowadays current lifestyles, mainly around important people known world wide in the business world. Despite that the story is not that realistic as in a slice of life - the fact that the heroine's father turns the marriage and also future of his daughter into a game shows my point. Unlike what others said I don't think the plot starts THAT slowly but rather it's building itself trough out each episode. Don't let the politics factor get to you, it is not boring at all and it blends itself in all drama and suspense enough to make it interesting.
Art (8/10) If you're a bishounen eye-candy like me, Hanasakeru Seishounen is perfect for you. Nothing really new - the art is focusing on the characters and especially the eyes are given a lot of attention.
Characters (7/10) Not your average cry baby heroine but is rather naive and probably some might even consider her as stupid but the fact that she is new to the modern society in general outside her little island is enough of a reason to cut her some slack here. The characters in general develop according to the plot basically; some do nicely, some others could need more work.
Sound (6/10) Pretty average but goes well enough with the series and situations.
Enjoyment (9/10) Leaving out the pros and cons, I'm enjoying the anime very much. The fact that it's shoujo/romance is one of the reasons. Quoting from kujika's review because those are exactly my thoughts: "There were some episodes which actually left me on my seat twitching to watch the next episodes immediately."
Overall (8/10) All in all it's a quite original and interesting Reverse Harem which with all it's elements combined together makes an almost perfect romance to watch. Of course everything has it's flaws but I do suggest you try it out, you might discover you've been missing on something great - especially the fans of this genre out there :)
