Young boy found in the original Japanese fantasy adventure,"Spirited Away".
Origin We are first introduced to Haku when Sen goes out screaming for help, because her parents wouldn't stop eating so they turned into pigs. Haku takes her into the bathhouse and tells her to find a job and stay here until her parents can heal. It is hinted that he knows her from childhood, but it was never stated if that is true or how he may have known her. He helps Sen throughout the rest of the movie as well.
Creation Like all other "Spirited Away" Haku was written and directed by Hayao Miyazaki, and was voiced by Miyu Irino and Jason Marsden.
Character Evolution Haku does have slight changes throughout the story. We see his caring and love for only grow throughout "Spirited Away" and he also seems to grow somewhat in maturity as the film goes plays out. We also find out later that Haku actually has a dragon form, and we learn that he holds a very important object to the story, the mysterious seal that hardly anyone seems to know anything about. Along with the seal he coughs up a black slug. His coughing up of the objects is unkown, though he was fed a dumpling by Sen after he was seriously injured by shikigami, or a kind of spirit summoned by a practitioner and is in a paper bird form.
Major Story Arcs Haku's major story arc is in the film "Spirited Away."
