@Fehafare: aha, but my country (Israel) is less than half the size of yours. Although, our population is greater than both Bosnia and Herzegovina. I didn't recognize the country till I translated the name, I used to hear there names so much in Islamic history at school. as for the intrest part, completely random thought :)

@Killer_of_trolls: Lol don't really know what my country has to do with Islamic History, but yeah nice to hear that.

Lightning doesn't travel at the speed of light, it travels at the speed of electricity.

The speed of light is the speed of electricity

@Agent9149: It isn't...

@Agent9149: Only in a vacuum does the speed of electricity reach light speed. In practical situations (like through the air or wires) it's speed ranges from 66%-95% the speed of light.

As for the topic, the speed of lightning is not the speed of light. The light generated from the lightning travels at the speed of light (duh) but the lightning itself does not. Measured speeds of lightning range all over the place with the fastest upper atmosphere lightning being 9,00,000 miles per hour . This is a far cry from the 669,600,000 mph speed of light.

... but why are we talking about Chidori in a thread that's supposed to be proving Haku goes light speed?

@Fehafare: it is. The speed of electricity is the same as light, it only slows down when passing through a medium (same thing goes for light)

the person is just being desperate; i think he's suggesting because kakashi uses a lightning based attack and he fought haku, that somehow translate to haku being lightspeed

@Agent9149: Yeah... and most of the time said medium is air so the point is moot, if you find a feat of people dodging lighting in space call it light speed but under normal cirucmstances that are likely to happen it is not.

@xlab3000:

Ok, where is the scan that say Haku is moving at light speed?

Also, it wrong since no one was able to hit Pein in less then five seconds.
