The Catch-Up: Plot

Things go from bad to worse for humanity. Simon rots in prison, dropping the soap for pretty much every angry beastman around, while Rossiu continues lying to the public about his "plan." Its bad enough that Rossiu intends to strand 80% of the population on a dying planet, but Nia shows up in prison to gloat how futile their actions are. She states that even if they escaped into space, the Anti-Spirals are prepared to destroy them there, by force. Things are pretty bleak... till a long gone friend shows up... no, not that friend.
 

Today's Episode:

It was Yoko! Today is, you guessed it, mostly a Yoko episode. Making up for about 4 episodes entirely lacking, she's back to boost the show's sex appeal, and reveal where she's been the last seven years.

@CapeBarnes: Yeah, like Yoko or not, it took us like, 15 minutes to back to the flow of last episode's ending. Also I felt the last second cliffhanger in this episode a bit unlike gurren lagann.

I just like how one of the kids is the VA who does Laharl from Disgaea. How I melt in honor of that man/demon/overlord.
