Gungrave is the long journey of a Shakespearean tragic hero, neither fully good nor fully bad, that discover that he is a result of his own decisions, not a victim of powerful enemies or the misfortune. He rises from humble origins to a high standing but is spiritually wounded by his experiences and foresee himself making an error in is his actions that lead to his downfall from the top. So he prepare beforehand a fate worst than death for get redemption. Lots of colorful characters, deep relationships, small details, visually superior, good action, plot and music. If you like mafia stories and dont mind some superpowers, I recomend it.
