An instrument that creates sound through the vibrations of it's six strings.(though some guitars have seven and eight strings)
The most common kind of guitars are acoustic and electric. Acoustic guitars have a hollow body and a sound hole that amplifies the sound of the strings. Electric guitars use electronic induction to convert the vibrations of the strings into electric signals which are then amplified and then broad casted through speakers.
