Chapter One
Spirit force, thats what they call the energy residing within spirits, both living and dead. It serves as the balancer between lifeforce, and the spiritual energy resonating within souls. Like a heart Spirit Force carries a beat to it. shoing how healthy and strong it is by how many beats occur per minutes. Through out time many cultures have come to accept and harness it. And just as it influenced many different lands it has been given many different names. Names like Ki, Chakra, Aura, even Spirit touch. And just as many different cultures were influenced by it for good many people sought to use it for war. And in the end those who used it for ar only brought tragedy and pain where knowledge and awakening should have been, and because of all the pain caused by these power struggles Oni were born. With the birth of such creatures humanity seemed doomed to fall prey for the Oni's hunger for souls. It seemed all was lost but the King of Spirits would not allow chaos to dominate nature itself and so he went forth and gathered the energies of both Ying, and Yang from both the human realm and the spirit realm. From this power he forged eight sacred treasures. Which humans would later call them Budha's sacred treasures. In each of these treasures, lyed the secret to spiritual harmony. The power to main Darkness and Light itself resonating on an equal current. Resonating both of the powers of Ying and Yang the treasures were capable of becoming one with nature and thus obtaining harmony with life and death itself. Even with this imense power created it was not enough to restore order into this world. It was only until a Sage by name of Kobo Sen Daishi merged with all of the sacred treasures thus creating the First Shinigami and was able to end the ceaseless war between Oni and Spirits. Using the full power of the eternal eight Kobo created a third dimensional realm of existance. The realm of Naraka, and sealed away all the Oni within this realm. Kobo however was unable to seal away the First. The first was the first true Oni every created, It was born by the immense hatred born in the hearts of thriteen Sacred monks.
