Guardian of the garden

After having traveled for several days, Cleao is tired and has started complaining. This is aggravated due to their proximity to a hot-springs resort, albeit one that has long since been abandoned, and is (according to legend) haunted.

When Majic peeps on Cleao in the bath, she ropes him into coming with her to the resort. On the way they encounter Dortin and Volkan, retrieving the sword from Beltanders from them, and smacking them around a little as punishment for their theft.

Cleao and company reach the resort and discover that the haunting is due to the construct groundskeepers, who attack people who step on the plants. Dortin and Volkan search the ruins for the legendary treasure, but find nothing of value. Orphen finally catches up with the rest of the party in time for a solar eclipse, revealing the true treasure - the massive fields of flowers around the resort bloom in an eclipse, with beautiful glowing pollen.
