Plot Summary

The battle heats between Caster's beast while Tokiomi is fighting Kariya and Archer is taking on Berserker. Rider tells Saber to fall back. He tells everyone that he will use his Reality Marble to buy some time. Rider asks them to come up with a plan when his Reality Marble breaks. He instructs Weaver to tell him what happens on the outside of his Reality Marble. Rider engages Caster's beast with his Noble Phantasm, and Bersker evades Archer. Elsewhere, Kariya struggles to break Tokiomi's barrier, but Tokiomi blasts Kariya with fire. Kariya falls over the bridge with Kirei watching the whole event. When Irisviel's phone rings, Weaver takes her phone and answers for her. Kiritsugu asks Weaver about Rider's Noble Phantasm and instructs him to move the beast. Weaver delivers a message to Lancer about Saber's Noble Phantasm's qualities. Lancer breaks his Gae Buidhe due to his code of chivalry and to stop Caster from harming the innocent. Saber reveals her golden sword, Excalibur. When Berserker notices Saber, he pursues Saber. Archer attacks Berserker because he feels offended that Berserker is going to turn his back on Archer and pursue Saber. In an alleyway, Kirei finds Kariya and before he is about to kill Kariya, he remembers Archer's words. Instead of killing Kariya, Kirei heals Kariya with a grin on his face. When Rider's soldier appears, Weaver tells him to inform Rider to move the beast.

Lancer goes off and destroys Berserker's air plane, and Berserker tries to aim at Saber. However, Archer destroys Berserker's gatling gun. When Kiritsugu shoots the flare gun, Weaver points over there, and Rider delivers the beast to that location. With Archer watching and Irisviel explaining that Saber's golden light can be seen in both past, present, and future, Saber unleashes her Noble Phantasm's full fury on Caster's beast. Caster looks at the light and sees Joan D. Arc. Archer asks Rider if he still sees Saber as worthy. Rider states that she still bears the burden of her people and the curse of living under her dreams and ideals. Rider tells Archer that he will never accept Archer. When Rider asks Archer to take him on, Archer informs him that he has exhausted his mana. He asks for Archer's permission to retreat. The two bid farewell for now. Archer looks at Saber and makes his decision.
