I cant stand the cunt and also think he is an idiot! Only Goku I ever liked was Dragon Ball version when he was short.

i like goku but i also like scores of characters better than him as well. He's not even my favorite character from the Dragonball series. That being said, eveyone is entitled to thier own opinion

@Iju:Is true, but please consider that I've never said that I didn't like Goku, I'm just saying that he is not the best character, and that this thread isn't a good thread. If I were to rank a list based on concept Goku would be below 50 place, and based on power he'll also be below 50 place.

Against Fat Buu. He said he could have beat him. But he wanted the kids to do it. What happened after that? Buu killed over 6 billion people. Yeah, real fuckin' genius.

@Supreme Marvel: To be fair to Goku, he couldn't have predicted Buu would get a power up and those kids would turn out to be incompetent little douches :p 
 
On subject, Goku will always have a fond place in my heart because he was apart of the anime that got me into the genre, though he wasn't my favourite character.

@Acer.: Goku was lucky, he had Gohan to raise. He was almost perfect. The only thing he knew of Trunks and Goten was they were decent martial artists and could go super saiyan. And he based everything on that. That's an idiot move to make.

I wouldn't say Goku is the best, but he is rightfully up there with the best. Bardock happens to be my favorite, and in his recent Episode of Bardock movie, where he transforms into a Super Saiyan and creates the Legend of the Super Saiyan, my heart skipped several beats.
