Some characters wear 'em. Normally used for improving lacking eyesight.

However, wearing glasses is not always used to improve lacking eyesight. In some cases, characters wear them for...other reasons. For example, in Ouran High School Host Club, Yasuchika Haninozuka purposely wears the wrong prescription glasses, so that when he looks at his older brother, Mitsukuni Haninozuka, his older brother is blurred out. He does this because he greatly dislikes him, obviously. Another example includes Seraphim, from the Kore Wa Zombie Desu Ka? franchise, who receives a pair of glasses to see secret messages, but is also used by Aikawa Ayumu to see through attractive women's clothing and see their lingerie (check end of episode seven and beginning of episode eight).
