Overview
Manga Girl Friend tells of stories of various couples having problem with their love, but unlike other Romance manga whose target demographics are shonen, or young boys, Girl Friend's main demographic are more mature readers. Thus sex scenes are involved in each chapter whether it's the main problem of couples or not. The sex scenes are not shown, but implied.
Each chapter covers different couple, but from time to time, the story about certain couples continues in future chapters.
