Konatsu has finally got a choir team together, but fate continues to throw obstacles in her and the teams path.
Sawa invites Konatsu and Wakana to her place
Picking up from last episode, Konatsu was seen singing in public by Taichi, Atsuhiro, Sawa and Wakana. Atsuhiro continues to try his best to adopt Japanese customs, consulting his book whenever he has trouble, and tries getting the others to call him by his first name, while also teaching them how to say "Wien" properly (Vienna in German). However no one seems to be paying him much attention.
Sawa invites Konatsu and Wakana to her home. On their way up the forest they greet Shiho, Sawa's mother, who is heading to the beach. Shiho tells them to have fun. At Sawa's home, Sawa shows Wakana a video of last year's recital. Konatsu was too nervous to sing and let out a yelp in the middle of the song. Sawa jokes with Konatsu about what happened. Sawa asks Wakana for her to put down her name to join Konatsu's choir club, so that Konatsu can keep trying to sing. Wakana says sure if it's just her name. Elsewhere Taichi and Atsuhiro are out shopping and stop by a restaurant to eat. The girls discuss about how to recruit more members. Konatsu asks her little brother to ask his friends to join, she again threatens to tell mom about his porn stash. Also Sawa asks her mom, Shiho to design posters and fliers for them.
Konatsu asks for Wakana's help
Konatsu visits the Principal and gives him the paper work for the new choir club. The Principal seems optimistic, and even says he will be the club's staff adviser. After Wakana's after school class, Wakana hears Konatsu trying to play piano. Konatsu wants to pick their songs as soon as possible, but has been unsuccessful so far because she cannot play piano. It turns out that Wakana can play the piano. Konatsu promptly asks her to help them in exchange for a cake. Wakana says sure, and starts playing through some of the sheet music so that Konatsu can get a feel for the songs. The first song sounds like a song that Wakana's mother used to play for her.
The next day Wakana play that song for the rest of the club and they decide regular practice times. The Vice-Principal walks in and stops them. When asked what song they will be singing, Konatsu shows her the sheet music. The Vice-Principal tries confiscates it and says she will not allow them to perform that song. Ultimately the Vice-Principal gives back the sheet music to Konatsu and the club begins practicing for the recital.
On the day of the dress rehearsal, the Principal is nowhere to be found. Since club activities are forbidden without a club adviser or sub-adviser (in this case their sub is Ms. Takahashi), the Vice-Principal tells Konatsu that she has to appoint someone in their club who can read sheet music to be at the rehearsal while the rest of the club stays behind to wait for their adviser. Unfortunately the only one who can read sheet music is Wakana. Konatsu goes to get her from another club's activites, and apologizes for the trouble. Meanwhile Sawa goes to find Ms. Takahashi who is at the hospital. The Principal is also at the hospital, as he got injured. With their club advisers in check, the bus with the choir members takes off from school and Ms. Takahashi drives Konatsu and Sawa to the venue. However the other choir members are not there yet, and they are being announced onto stage.
The Vice-Principal watches
Sawa tells Konatsu not to give up. And with that, the two of them go out onto stage to perform a song. Wakana joins them on piano. Wakana mouths to Konatsu that now she owes her 3 cakes. After their song, the Principal is on the phone with the Vice-Principal, he tells her that she will will be the club's adviser temporarily until he returns from the hospital.
