Garma's Fate

The Zeon brass attend a large party at the home of a former mayor, Eschonbach, in Zeon territory. Garma and Char are in attendance and converse at the bar, when the Mayor's daughter Icelina is introduced. Garma and Icelina are in love, deep enough love to leave their lives behind to be together. Garma is still restricted by the Zeon and tells Icelina of his current mission to capture the Federation weapons trying to escape Zeon airspace. Garma is convinced that his father would not stand in judgement of the love between him and Icelina if he can net a large prize as the Trojan Horse. Garma and Icelina are interupted mid-kiss by a Zeon officer saying that the Trojan Horse was near the last Zeon defense line, Garma leaves to personally command an operation against the Trojan Horse.

Char goes along as well volunteering himself for participating in the ground operation. Char seeks to put his plan into full effect of the death of Garma, and purposely guides the GAW attack carrier past the White Base so its flank is exposed to an attack by the White Base. The ensuing barrage is devestating to Garma's airmada as the GAW attempts to reverse course and return fire. The GAW starts to lose altitude from being heavily damaged as Char resumes communication with Garma mocking him for his mistakes. Garma, in a fit of rage takes over the controls of the GAW in an attempt to ram the Federation warship, it fails.
