Like Legend of Zelda, I didn't know there was another way to pronounce words. (IE: Hylia is "Hi-lea" or "He-lea.") I was pronouncing Gargantia as "Gar-gan-shia." I never knew it can be pronounced in an exotic Spanish way, "Gar-gan-TE-ah." Gargantia is a fun series to watch along with Attack on Titan in the weekends.

Already called my meta game plot pick. Feel it will get rather dark some where tword the end. If i pair writer history with it, probly sucker punch in next 3 shows .If ratings are not bad probly batle clif hanger at end. Whole start with war end with war thing.

but then again hints difrently

swear at some point i heard them the crew refer to it as Gar-gan-shia .

@Marshal Victory:

Just want to add Urobuchi's message:

From ANN.

From the moment this anime was in its planning stages, one of the themes I set for it was to incorporate a message for our young people in their late teens and early twenties—in other words, those are just about to enter society, or those who have just entered society and feel lost at sea. I made a point to keep this theme in mind as I composed the story, so it has a different flavor from the many other works I've created in the past. I hope that this work will act as encouragement for all of those who are being forced to struggle hard in the harsh climate of our frozen job market.

I'm liking this show a lot. My favorite would be Aku no Hana or Chihayafuru 2 though.

@sickVisionz: Big ups to Chihayafuru as well... that show is my favorite ongoing anime right now. Methinks I need to do an article about it...

It is said that Ledo's language in Gargantia is a mix of backwards German and some English. It sounds funky enough for me to believe that.

My top 3 this season?

1. Flowers of Evil

2. Attack on Titan

3. Gargantia

I think "Oh my god!" moments do a lot for me when it comes to anime I consider appointment television. Even though Gargantia lacks that, its still a big overall mystery if a) there will be any more actual action and b) if and how Ledo's going home. I also want to know if Ledo's come kind of clone, or if he even is from the future.

@YotaruVegeta: @sickVisionz:

We should get Tom and Sam to a Flowers of Evil Vice Pit. (I still haven't watch the series yet).

YotaruVegeta: I do agree with those three as the top shows of this spring season.
