Gantz, for Hardcore Fans

For Who?

Gantz is a one shot, adult anime for the slight perv and the action fan, it may start off focusing in high-school, but thats a commonality for anything in anime, Japanese people spend a whole lot of time in school, so its something to relate to.

What is it?

Gantz is a sci-fi action anime, blood, aliens, nudity, and swearing, and a few philosophical looks from the characters at some of societies, lesser aspects of social interaction between each other, even in a crisis.

I've heard bad things, especially about the ending.

It is true, the ending to the anime series is a bit of a let down. I'm sure you can find teastimonials from the creators as to WHY they do what they do, but I feel it was a good choice. Despite some harsh sorrow, and a strange cast of new party members, it picks up in adrenaline at the end, and even if it is ambiguous, most anime either do the same thing, or cut off altogether, which is always a nuisance to me, because as a fan, I always want more. More is something that is supposed to drive us to read the manga, but very seldom do any of us do so,  but I have to say, with Gantz, I would have run to go get to manga, its a great series, and it gets more strange, more difficult for the characters, and just all out nuts. Read it...

Bye.
