Gae Buidhe

Overview

Diarmuid's golden spear is known as Gae Buidhe, The Golden Rose of Mortality. With the spear, Lancer is capable of preventing his foe from healing any wounds delivered by the spear through natural and magical means. He used the spear to inflict a wound on Saber's arm which severed some of her tendons and prevented her from making full use of Excalibur. The effects of Gae Buidhe can only be cured through either destroying the spear or killing Lancer.
