Plot Summary
This volume takes place in the year 3404 CE and centres around the character of Masato Yamanobe and his shape-shifting girlfriend Tamami. The couple are hunted due to the connection to the Phoenix but manage to find shelter on Earth just as nuclear war breaks out.
