You can't make it to any big cons. Maybe you're broke, maybe your parents won't take you, or maybe there just isn't one near you, but you've never managed to get to a convention big enough to have FUNimation hanging out, much less hosting a panel. So many of us here can relate, even if I'm not one of them. (I have very indulgent parents, one of whom took me to my first con, Anime Expo, back in '99. Sorry!)
But perhaps inspired partially by TOKYOPOP's successful online conferences, FUNimation is going to host a "virtual convention panel" tomorrow, which is going to consist primarily of a Q&A session. Adam has attempted to preempt the real fun of the Q&A panel, at least for me, which is grousing about people asking really dumb questions (like "will you license [title]?!" or even worse, "can you talk about [title that is licensed by someone else entirely]"), but on the other hand, this liveblog style will allow Adam and Rojas to decide which questions they actualy answer, so maybe it'll wind up being a really cool, productive panel.
We'll find out tomorrow at 2pm PST/4pm CST/5pm EST, whent hey host the panel at the FUNimation blog. I've already cleared my calendar for that timeslot, so if any of you can't make it, just like any other convention panel-- go ahead and share your questions in the comments and I'll see if I can ask.
So, what are your questions-- both those of you who are too busy AND those of you who are planning to check it out? And if you haven't already, you might consider checking out my How Not to be an Asshole at the Q&A Session feature-- most of these will still apply virtually!
