darker then black good anime or not

i just started watching it and sdo far it pritty good, but still, it could be better!!! tell me your oppenion!

I've only seen the first episode, but here were my initial thoughts: 
1. The characters in general seem pretty interesting, and for the most part complex 
2. The setting and lore seemed a bit bland. Seems like they could have come up with a better reason for why all these people have different powers.  
3. Its no animation benchmark, but it is nice to look at.

well the characters are ok, but the could of done better! and 3 dount no realy!

I would say its an average Anime, nothing really strikes me as new or stunning in it. Its about a 5 out of 10 not great but not rubbish.
