Fumika Mikawa was subjected to abuse from her father, Kirameki Mikawa, from a young age and developed a split personality disorder. The other personality, known as Mika, eventually shot her father, although he was not fatally wounded. When Fumika Mikawa discovered this, she fell into a coma and Mika gained a physical body, becoming the mail carrier known as Fumika.
