" @kashif1:  Uhh...Why?  That doesn't even make sense.  Brotherhood is the ORIGINAL.  Anything the 2003 anime did has no bearing on it.  Ross is not that important a character in the manga/Brotherhood.  That is how it is.  What does her being "fleshed out" in the 2003 series have to do with how the CREATOR of FMA wrote her?  The only companion to watching Brotherhood would be to read the manga.   I've never been able to finish the 2003 anime, as it bored me and actually turned me off of FMA for years until I was bored one day and started to read the manga. "

My story exactly.

@Tom_Pinchuk: Depends. Is End of Evangelion just a remake of the last two episodes of NGE?

@sotyfan16: I'm guessing you're watching along with Tom?

@Gaff:
Yes I am. I like the dub and watching along with the Watch & Learn allows me to dig deeper while still enjoying the show. If I've already seen a show being studied in Watch & Learn then I won't watch along with (might finish Bebop though along with Tom just so I can say I've seen the show).

They spend less time on characterization in brotherhood, Tom ran into that problem earlier and was almost turned off the series.  Ross had a larger appearance in the old anime so what happens to her in the new one is more meaningful.

@kashif1:
No it isn't.  All that matters in the manga/BH is what happens in manga/BH.  Any filler characterizations from the 2003 series have no bearing.   Her character in the manga/BH is a catalyst for greater events and that is where her role really ends.   If you have such a problem with characterization read the manga.

FMA.  SERIOUS BUSINESS.
