(Ding!) The captain has turned on the Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood light. Please return to your seats and fasten your seatbelts until you have watched the fourth episode of Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood on FUNimation's video site when it comes online in an hour.

...But seriously; as always, share your thoughts and comments about this week's episode in the thread. As always, I'll be leaving comments in realtime as I watch the ep!

Also, SURVEY: Would you guys enjoy this more if I moved it to a more convenient time, like 10pm CST (8pm PST, 11pm EST)? It wouldn't be right after the episode started, of course, but it would be at a time when fewer of us are in school/at work/etc and therefore we might get more people participating concurrently. So leave your thoughts on that in the comments, too.

Wait, don't you mean Episode 5 (or am I just losing it?) :P

No, no, that would be ME losing it. Sigh!

(Still not fully adjusted to this Mac's keyboard. You should see me trying to tab.)

Haha. Yes, Macs are fun. I would rather have one though (if I didn't play so many video games). BUT, that's a WHOLE different subject.

In response to your Survey: I like it live! Plus, I'm able to keep up with the comments. :)

Really? I much prefer my Dell @_o but although it seems to be working properly now, I want to put it through its paces before relying on it again and I just haven't had the time. @_@

There ARE things I will happily admit that the Mac does better, I'm not one of those stubborn "macs suck for everything" people. But I actually hate the way it deals with the tab button (very inconsistent, sometimes it doesn't tab through the form, or skips over drop-down items in a form, and sometimes it doesn't), and I also dislike how the dock works-- try as I might to organize it, everything always feels very cluttered and messy and I can't keep track of shit @_o I think my productivity is actually quite a bit down on this thing...

As for the survey: it would still be "live" (i.e. people would still plan on being here at the same time watching the show), it just wouldn't be at the exact moment that the episode appears online, it'd be sometime after :)

Survey: True, although, I am better online (myself, personally) at this time, since I work at 4 AM daily... and on Thursdays I get done earlier than usual.

Mac: With the tab button, that may more be the web browser's fault, and not the Mac, maybe. I miss having a dock, although I know I could create one on my windows machine using a 3rd party program, I'm just too lazy and have the start menu anyways, haha. Although, the keeping track of shit... I think that's a problem no matter WHAT type of computer you (and I) are using, hahaha. ;p

:)

I dunno, I use several browsers (Opera, Safari, and Firefox) in almost equal amounts, and I have the problem with all three-- haven't found any good settings for it.

And on the organization front, absolutely not =P I had a great system on my Dell. But the Mac...you don't have things pop up in the dock unless you've minimized them or manually added the program down there (which means the icon is down there regardless of whether the program is running).

Which means you can actually *lose* windows and forget about them <_<

But on to the topic at hand...Trisha is hot.

LOL. No comment to that last message Gia.

Also, Opera is FTW. ANYWAYS!

The animation style still amazes me, for the record. Absolutely gorgeous!

Ugh, it's early. Hope you appreciate this, Gia.

Nice to see them finally do some really smooth animation outside of the first episode. Ed in that bed was nicely done.

Welcome aboard, Lana, your efforts are greatly appreciated ;)

Hmmmm, what do you think of new!Envy's voice?
Post by nweasel (27 posts) See mini bio Level 4
I guess I tend to not argue about the voices in Japanese as much as I probably should. I didn't find it bad. :)

It's okay. A bit more punk teen and a bit less supernatural creature than the original, but we'll see how the later scenes go.

Okay, wait a second. When did Scar's power become so... badass? Also, epic animation is still epic.

Also, FUNi's new intro vid was amusing.

Mustang...it's raining...
Post by nweasel (27 posts) See mini bio Level 4
Hahaha. I don't think it was as funny in this one as it was in the original series though...

I dunno, now we're two for two on Mustang fail. Failtang? Musfail? Mustfail!...
