Plot Summary

Echidna is hired by Thunder General Claudette to bring Leina home in one piece as Leina and her friend Risty reach the next town. She launches an elaborate plot that involves scaring Leina and Risty with a snake, then stealing all their money, forcing them to find other ways to get the money back and pay for the food. Risty wants to steal the money, and Leina wants to work for it, thus entering herself in a wrestling contest.

Risty goes ahead and uses the distraction to steal from the bookies' vault, while Echidna says some silly things to her. But Leina decides to continue her honest work by getting more money in the wrestling ring. This time, it's filled with oil, and she's fighting the evil assassin snake lady Echidna who takes advantage of her slippery body to win the fight. Risty steals the money anyway while Leina is being (wo)manhandled in the ring, eventually culminating with Echidna's snake biting her right breast. Leina screams and nearly dies as the snake's poison courses through her body, but because she's the main character of the show the writers force Echidna to give her the antidote, mouth-to-mouth, because she loves her that much.

Leina returns to the hotel room to find that Risty is gone and left her a single coin that was sentimental for reasons I can't remember. Leina cries again while Echidna stands outside the door.

Also, the shinto warrior-priestess Tomoe and Shizuka tried on new outfits earlier in the episode and Nanael got very few lines.
