Overview

Full Moon is a manga by Arina Tanemura. It was first published in the Shueisha shojou magazine Ribon from January 2002 till June 2004.

It's about a young girl called Mitsuki who loves to sing. However, she finds out that she has throat cancer, and that if she gets surgery she will no longer be able to sing. When the shinigami come for her, she makes a deal with them: for six months, she transforms into a healthy sixteen year old singer so she can fulfill her dreams, and then she will go with them peacefully. This manga chronicles that journey, and everything that happens to her, making her into a better person.
