Fruits Basket User Reviews

The zodiac has been a big part in a lot of anime stories, this being one of them. In Fruits Basket we follow the life of Tohru Honda, who's mom died in a car accident. she lives in a tent till one day when two boys from her school, Yuki Sohma and Shigure Sohma, find her in her tent and invite her to live with then for a while. They however are members of a cured family that when ever hugged by the opposite sex, or under a great deal of stress they will transform into a specific animal of the zodiac. Hilarity ensues, or one would think while the anime has it's moments, it focuses more on drama. this would be good if the story wasn't so boring. the anime was able to immerse me a little meaning i some what cared what happened to them, but once it was over i only felt like i wasted a lot of time. (though i have to admit, this did have one of my favorite jokes in anime)

In Conclusion
The anime is pretty dry, and only has a few things going for it
