Frieza

Origin

Along with his father King Cold, Frieza was part of galactic organization that involves conquering planets, and trading them for profits, whether the inhabitants liked it or not. However Frieza didn't conquer those planets by using his army he had created from his previously conquered planets, he did it with his own power. One of planet he conquered was Planet Vegeta, the home of Saiyans, where he used most of them as his personal army for long time. However when he realized the hidden potential of Saiyan race and heard the legend of Super Saiyan, Frieza destroyed the planet and wiped out the most of Sayian race out of fear that they would get strong enough to defeat him.

Creation

Frieza was an original villain character created by Akira Toriyama, as such he was appeared in both manga and anime version of Dragon Ball franchise. According to him, Frieza's design is an amalgamation of what he thought monsters looked like in his childhood.

Powers and Abilities

Frieza's Transformations

First Form Frieza's first form Frieza's first form, he was in this stage when he first reached Namek to search for the Dragon Balls and wish for immortality. He sent his men out to get all the Dragon Balls but since none of his minions were able to complete the mission, Frieza had to scout for them himself. He then later ran into Gohan, Krillin and Vegeta and ends up fighting against them. Frieza was doing fine until Vegeta finally joined the fight, when Frieza was cornered by Vegeta he had no choice but to transform into his second form. This is also the form Frieza was in when he destroyed the planet Vegeta.

Second Form Frieza's second form Frieza's second form, Frieza decided to use this form when he was being defeated Vegeta in his first form. When Vegeta was defeated, Frieza decides to have little fun by stabbing Krillin with the horns on his head. Enraged, Gohan attacks Frieza but it was no use against him. Piccolo, who got stronger after bonding/fusing with Nail, shows up just in right time to save both Krillin and Gohan. Frieza and Piccolo fight against each other with almost equal strength for a decent amount of time. Eventually Frieza decides to transform into his next form.

Third Form Frieza's third form This form was based off of Alien from the alien franchise. When Frieza transformed into his third form his speed was increase tremendously which Piccolo couldn't keep up with. Frieza defeats Piccolo with his third form, but he decides to transform into his final form to have pleasure of torturing them.

Final Form Frieza's final form Frieza's final and also his original form. It was revealed later that other three forms were used to suppress his original power in order to keep his under control. When he battled Vegeta in this form he was able to easily defeated him to the point where he had his tail around Vegeta's neck and was punching him in the back. Vegata would have died but Goku came to the rescue. Frieza disposed of Vegeta with a death beam through the heart. Then he battles Goku with no distractions. They were equals in power during the fight until Frieza stopped using 1% of his power and use 50% of his power. Frieza was overwhelming Goku, who was going far as using Kaio-ken x 20, which left him no choice but to use a Spirit Bomb. Frieza appeared to be killed by the Spirit Bomb but it was revealed that he evaded it. In retaliation, Frieza shot Piccolo with a death beam and then blew Krillin up. This enraged Goku triggered his transformation into a Super Saiyan, the being Frieza feared the most. They begin to fight again, but this time with Goku having the upper hand.

100% Power Form Frieza at 100% full power When Frieza was losing his fight against Goku in Super Saiyan mode, Frieza decided to use 100% of his power to increase his strength and speed. The problem was that it was too powerful for Frieza to handle, it was actually putting strains on his body and his body couldn't maintain it for long. Eventually he loses strength and gets weaker and weaker.

Mecha Frieza

Frieza is put back together with metal parts, and is said to be at his strongest ever in this form due to new inorganic part, not limiting his full potential. He goes to Goku's planet so he can fight him again. However no matter how powerful his was, Frieza was still no match against Trunks in his Super Saiyan mode.

Durability

Frieza has shown the ability to withstand the blast from a Spirit Bomb that had energy from the planet Namek as well as nearby planets and stars and continue fighting. Frieza has been shown to take blows and ki attacks from Super Saiyan Goku. Frieza also survived the destruction of planet Namek while already half dead from his battle with Goku.

Power

Frieza: Planet Buster

Frieza easily possesses planet destroying power as he destroyed the planet Vegeta with a ki ball while still in his first form. In his final form he easily had the ability to destroy the planet Namek, however he hesitated and only hit the core, postponing its destruction for a small amount of time. Frieza and his father King Cold state that it would be a simple matter to destroy the Earth with one shot while still in orbit.

Speed

Frieza has shown exceptional speed in combat during his fights with Piccolo and Goku. Frieza routinely dodges ki from even extremely close distances, indicating faster than light speed as various ki beams in the Dragon Ball franchise have been clocked at or surpassing the speed of light.

Special Abilities

Frieza has shown the ability to life heavy objects with his mind, in the anime he is seen hurling an island at Goku using his mind.

Great Power

He has also used invisible ki abilities to blow up Krillin form the inside. Frieza also possesses hand to hand fighting skills, allowing him to fight on par with Goku. Frieza can also breath and survive indefinitely in space.

Power Level:

In original form, Frieza is already considered the most powerful of all the universe. Frieza has a power level of 530,000 units, and this value was well above the power level of the Captain Ginyu (120,000 on top form). Frieza is powerful enough to destroy a planet with the Death Ball (as he did with the Planet Vegeta, the fight against the father of Goku - Frieza destroys a planet whose gravity is 10 times above the Earth's gravity). In his second form, he has a power level exceeding 1 million. Frieza's power was elevated to levels so high that the combined efforts of Krilin, Vegeta and Gohan did not do any physical harm. But his great power was overcome by the power of Piccolo after his fusion with the dying Nail. In his third form has an even more monstrous power level, but as much as in the manga and Daizenshuu book 7 - his power level was never revealed. In his fight against Goku's power, the power level of the tyrant was 60,000,000 using only half of his total force. In his final form and the use of 100% of his strength, the power level of Frieza was 120,000,000. However, the use of 100% of his maximum power, Frieza has to wait a bit and he still cannot fight for a long time in his final form at 100% which results in a decrease of Ki and gradual loss of his physical capabilities. But in the anime, Frieza in his final form fought on equal footing with Super Saiyan Goku.
