Friend is the main antagonist of 20th Century Boys. There are two characters posing as Friend: Fukubei and Katsumata.
A mysterious character who draws Kenji's childhood ideas to conquer the world. There are two characters who is Friend.
The first one is Fukubei, Kanna's father, who plans to conquer the world. He met his end in the middle of the series when Yamane shot him.
The second one is Katsumata, Kenji's childhood schoolmate, who plans to destroy the world. He is killed in the end of the series when a flying saucer crashes on him.
