A famous German conductor. unfortunatly also a great pervert.
Franz von Stresemann is a well-known conductor who happens to appear in Tokyo, where he meets Noda and Chiaki. Upon the first meeting with Noda and Chiaki, Stresemann gives them a false name ("Milch Holstein") and although Chiaki realizes this is a fake name, he does not notice he was actually talking to a famous conductor. Noda on the other hand, did not realize Milch is not Stresemann's real name and she keeps calling him Milch even after Stresemann told everyone his real name.
Even though he dislikes Chiaki initially - since Chiaki is the apprentice of his rival Vieira - Stresemann claims a role as Chiaki's mentor because he believes in his talent as a conductor. Stresemann shows Chiaki that conducting isn't all about being strict and serious, but also about being humane.
In his younger days, Franz von Stresemann conducted for the Roux-Marlet Orchestra in Paris. Some of Stresemann's favorite hobby's include getting drunk, going to parties with younger people and especially flirting with women.
