supernatural incidents, the people have become frightened by the possibility of
these events escalating. As such, the government took greater measures to
ensure the elimination of early on threats by locating those with unusual
powers and containing them in secured, hidden facilities. When they discovered
a young boy who could manipulate his blood, the government took immediate
actions. Troops stormed the young boy’s house with a warrant for his arrest,
even though he never did any harm. He was seized, taken away from his family,
and sent to a far away, unknown location where he was kept like a prisoner.
Labeled as Detainee 5580, Victor Young was forced to live the life of imprisonment. He was given little privacy, was stored in a maximum security cell and only allowed out to other locations for a certain amount of time each day, and unable to contact any from the outside world. He was detained for several months until the fall of President Ray Donovan. NewDeath discovered about Victor Young and his unique ability to control his blood and captured the young boy from the prison, taking him for his own sinister purposes.
Now as a prisoner of NewDeath on Kiseki Island, Victor was subjected to many painful tests. After dozens of examinations, his keeper, NewDeath, discovered that he had somehow gotten a nano-robotic producing crystal lodged deep inside his chest, nearby his heart. The mysterious crystal was capable of producing specialized microscopic robots that are able to read nerve singles, allowing Victor to control them, hence giving him the ability to manipulate his own blood.
There were many attempts to remove the crystal and the nanobots but all were to no avail. Even when NewDeath withdrew Victor's blood to study the nanobots, they dissolved too quickly for Victor's warden to examine and even more nanobots were unwillingly created to replace those lost. The crystal offered even less results, it could not be removed without threatening Victor’s life and it was unknown if the crystal would be active if removed from its host. So NewDeath was forced to keep the crystal and its groundbreaking power with Victor Young.
Seeing that Victor was much more useful to him as a weapon than as a simple caged lab rat, NewDeath decided to train the young, blood manipulating boy as a possible apprentice. Victor was outfitted with a special collar to keep him under control, trained to use his powers effective, and was given the title VitalShot. Against his will, Victor must do NewDeath's bidding, no matter what it is, if he does not want his warden to detonate the collar around his neck or something even worse- something NewDeath hints all the time to mock Victor and his grim situation. While forced into such a grim situation, Victor still clings onto some hope that he can find someway to escape all his troubles and return to the peaceful life he once lived.
Abilities and Devices
VitalShot has a nanobot producing crystal in his body. These nanobots travel
through his bloodstream and can be controlled through thoughts. As such, VitalShot is able to manipulate his blood in certain ways. As long as there is an
open wound on his body, he can release his blood and morph it into a weapon. But the blood must be in contact with him in some way -even through a stream of blood.
The most common form that VitalShot utilizes his blood with is a bullet capable to blasting a hole in solid concrete
but the power may be controlled to strengthen or weaken it. This ability has
been named the ‘VitalShot’, the same name that his
code name was based on.
To keep him in line, Newdeath has forced Vital Shot to wear a specialized collar around his neck. This collar is equipped with a GPS, electroshock restrain, cameras, communication devices, and a self-destruct function. The collar is to keep tabs on Vital Shot and monitor his every action in order to prevent any attempt of defiance.
