I played that virtually "
virtually or otherwise it didn't have any graphic tha can be compared to a real gameboth in NeverWinter and DnD( NVW uses DnD system), Paladin is magic+physical  class, the magic is divine magic, given to them by godsmagic is magic, science is science "
No in NWN only chosen ones(champions) use magic and they are indeed like paladins but still paladins unlike them have no god to choose from wich they would get their powers

NWN 2 have Paladins, and unless bioware is lying and you are correct
THIS proof you very very wrong in the case of NWN 1, and OOPS Pally ALL have to choose a lawful good God
there is also no champion class besides prestige class, EVEN then they have to choose gods

I have russian version so not sure if they are called champions but still you don't choose god it's already chosen
Also you can't consider blessing as magic it's divine power not magic

Divine Wrath =magic
Paladin can ONLY invest in Divine Magic
so every Magic used by pally is DIVINE
by nature of DnD system(which NWN is using) divine magic is asking help from god, and the god gives
http://nwn.wikia.com/wiki/Paladin
blessings IS divine magic in DnD verse, there is no distinctive difference, you are given X power by your patron god to use

@cfatalis:
Divine spells are spells of religious origin powered by faith or by a deity.
So technically user asks them(their deities) to for example heal you and definitely not you healing yourself or use their faith in order to do miracles

the character is using the god power to cast spell, they are still casting by themselves, hence why it have a spell count, specific spell count at that
you are healing yourself, only the power is provided by your god instead of arcane sources, like arcane magic
they are miracle by any degree,considering they are asking their god to give them the power to do it, the same stuff as any other miracle is ussually done
"God please let me be able to do X" and if you are able to do it , where as in normal condition you can't, it is a miracle

there is no requirement for a miracle to be flashy

@cfatalis: If someone hears you out and helps you that doesn't mean that you can use magic
BTW they are called Favored Soul's not Champions

however it doesn't also mean miracle, Your GOD have to be done hearing you and helping you for it to be a miracle
by DnD, it is still classified as an act of magic
Magic is anything that goes against the law of nature/reality in its basic sense/unnatural action

@cfatalis: Yes but thats based on game while in books and comics they are praying to their gods for miracle
Post by Nerx (13,843 posts) See mini bio Level 12
@battleheiz:
pray : spellcasting
miracle : magic effect

pretty similar

@battleheiz: errr no? DnD divine magic is what I described even in the original version. DnD comic such as Drizz't comics did the same. Other series comic means jack shit considering DnD is the progenitor for the magic casting Paladin

No more on the side of having hefty spritual power, he didn't exactly ask his god for power, he didn't cast his power, It didn't have spell component
on DnD whatever Dante is doing is on the more side of "feat" rather than "spell"

@Association: I would like to. But Miguel wouldn't :P this organization stands against his strong belief in freedom etc. I want to interact with someone from this organization, but in a battle or an argument in the least XD

@Dr_Paradox: Are you sure?
Aside from the general rules Miguel is relatively free. His magic is powerful but not exotic enough to keep him locked up.ű for that.
