" What I do is not that deep, it is merely a means to an end . . . " - Lettie
Nearly a century ago, a German arms dealer by the name of Heinrich Weisenhaus had established an small mining company as a front business for his more nefarious lifestyle. His company grew rapidly, thanks to his primary busines, and before long it had become a large corporation contending in many different industries. One of Germany's leading organizations, in fact. Eventually, with the passing of Heinrich, the corporation was subjected to a series of policy changes under his son, Wilfried, and soon commanded it's own military force. And like his father, Wilfried would run shady dealings on the side, using the company as a diversion against the federal authorities.
Lettie is a junior officer in the Weisenhaus Military Police Corps, the military branch of Weisenhaus Industries. After serving the corps for nearly eight years with continuous satisfactory performances, she currently holds the position of Lieutenant and serves under Captain McLerie of the Bravo team of the Bloodletter division.
Her daily duties include:
- Riot control
- Domestic disturbance response
- Emergency response
Her special duties include:
- Protecting and escorting V.I.P.
- Fugitive search
- Prisoner transport
- Field missions
- Covert operations
Several decades ago, a small rural community in Germany was hit by a meteor shower. Many people died during the incident, and many children became orphans. The German government decided against sending aid to its residents, however, the official statement being that the damage was too costly to recover from. Still, the survivors managed to salvage what they could from the aftermath, starting over and making progress in small steps until Wilfried Weisenhaus began rebuilding the town, building his own academy amid the wreckage. His only request for the people was that they send all their orphans to be schooled at his academy in order to be trained to become a part of his military police.
Before joining the corps, Lettie stayed at Ebonholz Home, an orphanage in Slum Town that was, too, built and funded by Wilfried. It was there that she was raised by the slum's diamond in the rough, Margot, a young adult woman who'd lost her parents in the meteor shower. Growing up in that poor part of the city had exposed Lettie to much, and instilled a strong desire for justice within her. Her life-long goal then was to help usher in an era of peace and equality, and the Weisenhaus Military Police Corps seemed to have mutual ideals. She left Ebonholz at the age of sixteen to become a cadet, only to discover that the corps was ripe with corruption. And after spending some time away from home, she has only recently made a return visit.
Weapons & Equipment
Incredibly light yet defiantly durable, these blades are the standard weapons for all of WMPC's Bloodletters. Forged in a manner seemingly only known to Weisenhaus Industries, these swords are somewhat of a rarity.
In addition to the swords, all Weisenhaus MPs carry utility cases and grapple ropes.
Lettie has a deep inner desire to use her abilities for leadership, and to have personal independence. She would rather focus on large, important issues, and delegate the details. Competent and practical, she tends to be successful in business and her military affairs. But because she often focuses so strongly on business and achievement, she tends to neglect her private life, emotions and relationships. Her business-oriented decisions often weigh heavily on her conscience, however.

A theory developed by the leading scientists at Weisenhaus labs states that all living organisms posses a special attribute or quality hidden within their 'junk dna' known as a 'craft'. Some are believed to have several hidden crafts. This theory had become a fact several decades ago after a meteorite descended upon what is now known as Slum Town, bringing with it a medley of unearthly materials. The properties of the space rock were later discovered to be able to activate the junk dna of those who were exposed to its radiation.
Each and every life form that has been processed is placed into one of several categories based on their craft. When Lettie was first recruited by the WMPC as a cadet she was made to undergo several sessions of radiation exposure, her handlers hoping to uncover what her unique craft was. The results of her tests are classified.
The mysterious space rock was also discovered to have other uses but the results have been classified as well.
Lettie's craft is called ' The Foresight.' It allows her to easily read most of her opponent's attacks as they telegraph their movements. With this ability she's been able to take down opponents both stronger and faster than her.
From Heir to God
As Wilfried withers away with age he leaves more and more control over his empire into my hands. The old fool actually trusts me. Hmmh. But who better to lead Weisenhaus into the future than his own (adopted) son? Nobody. All other would-be candidates are weak slaves to their morals, unable to see the larger picture in front of them. With the corps under my command I will take the company to greater heights, beyond anything that my father or grandfather had ever imagined. And with the world's most powerful crafts in my grasp I will be a god. The world has been waiting for one to descend upon them. I will give them what they want.

Crafting the Perfect Being
Born with a craft that had already placed him in the highest tier is not enough for the future chairman of Weisenhaus Industries. He thirsts for so much more. In his quest for power, he has discarded his morals and put himself through unfathomable pain. Radioactive 'Therapy' he calls it. And after enduring so much of it, he has mutated into something slightly inhuman.
Viktor has so much control over his own body that he can command each individual cell to perform a desired function. He is even able to manipulate his own DNA strands and the atomic structures within. With advanced ghosting Viktor can go from a solid to a liquid to a gas. With advanced ghosting he may send his body's own information to the space and atoms of another location with precision (see foresight below), essentially teleporting him from one place to another. But each time he does this he kills off the original form or body and becomes a 'copy' of himself. Knowing this does not stop him from doing it, however, and it wouldn't be an exaggeration if he were to announce that he'd died a thousand deaths. With this craft Viktor is able to heal himself as well, by replacing damaged DNA or cells with copies of the same DNA or cells before they had been damaged. To say the least, he is practically immortal.
Although this isn't necessarily a craft, the incredible amount of will power that Viktor possesses is far more greater than the average person. In fact, his will is so strong that he has shown to be able to withstand attempts by several infiltrators to penetrate or subdue his mind with psionic abilities and attacks.
Wilfried's daughter, and second adopted child. Her bond with Viktor is complicated and taboo, but her loyalty to Wilfried is second to none. Therefore, being caught in the middle of their power struggle takes a large toll on her happiness. She is quiet and reserved most of the time but she shines brightly when she is joyful. Viktor has no real love for her, however. It is her special craft that he cares for the most and she knows this. In order to prevent her brother from realizing his evil schemes and killing their father she has hired Lettie to bring down his operation, the only one she knows within the corps who has yet to be fully corrupted.

The ability to communicate with things and people or understand the nature behind them via touch. Elsa's psychometry is advanced, however, and she may learn of things by sensing the vibrations they give off. This advanced sense enables her to identify the craft(s) of another.
