@Masterofdeath: That's the plan. There's a lot of dirt and a lesson to be learnt.
@SamJaz: how to shove a shovel of someones butt? I think Stasis prefers stabbings people with his sword. Also whats your opinion on a gundam like character.
Alright. Test for you. Death has a powerful angel sitting his office, wanting to learn. Death sends him to the stables with a shovel and instructs him to muck it out and think about what the lesson might be while he worked.
What's the answer?
@Masterofdeath: It's because he cares.
He cares about the Harvest.
He cares about people.
It's in his own, messed up way, but he cares.
And he wanted Stasis to understand mercy.
So how does shovelling crap teach you to be merciful?
It's a disgusting job.
You work damn hard in horrible conditions for next to no pay.
But someone has to do it.
Someone has to do it.
It's a horrible job, but it has to be done.
The answer's obvious.
Death said it was.
So what could be more obvious in the job of shovelling crap, other than there's a lot of it and Death doesn't want to do it.
It's a horrible job, but Death can't do it.
Because Death carries a scythe.
A scythe that cuts each individual stalk carefully and lovingly.
A scythe of mercy that ends the pain and suffering.
One that isn't covered in crap.
It's a horrible job, and it needs doing. But it's not the only job that needs doing.
And it needs doing with care.
Justice is fair. Justice is not nice.
Mercy is unfair. Mercy is nice.
Lord, We Know There Is No Good Order Except That Which We Create.
There Is No Hope But Us.
There Is No Mercy But Us.
There Is No Justice.
There Is Just Us.
All Things That Are, Are Ours.
But We Must Care.
For If We Do Not Care, We Do Not Exist.
If We Do Not Exist, Then There Is Nothing But Blind Oblivion.
And Even Oblivion Must End One Day.
Lord, Will You Grant Me Just A Little Time?
For The Proper Balance Of Things.
To Return What Was Given.
For The Sake Of Prisoners And The Flight Of Birds.
Lord, What Can The Harvest Hope For, If Not For The Care Of The Reaper Man?
Because he cares.
There is seemingly no 'perfect' way to truly say goodbye. So I gathered a bunch of them!
