@ChronoWolf: @Fehafare:

Stepping behind the group, SamJaz changed they keychain on his key blade.

Follow the Wind- the one he used back in the junkyard to find what he wanted.

And what he wanted was the stairs.

The key span in his hand like we windmill, but stopped as he caught it and pointed it in an onward direction.

Jumping over a bookshelf, SamJaz fought his way through the monkeys, climbing over shelf and shelf until finding one the keyblade was attracted to.

Slamming the books with the keyblade, the bookshelf slid backwards, then to the side to reveal the stairway upwards.

"OVER HERE!" SamJaz shouted, surrounding himself with flames to ward of the monkeys as the others brawled against the never-ending pack.

@SamJaz:

As the man finished, and the monkeys attacked Yamato bit off the man's face. And most of his head as well. Then he slashed a monkey that came from behind with one of his claw heads and opened his mouth wide enough to eat the monkey whole, revealing sharp, pointy and strangely white teeth for this age. He kept on eating them while clearing a way towards Sam.

Matt went into Galantus form as soon as the monkeys jumped, bashing many with his shield.

Arthur and Aruu started cutting them a path as well, both using katana, one made of ice, the other leaving a trail of cold as it cut through the air. "Nice technique, where'd ya learn it?" Aruu attempted to start a conversation mid-battle. Arthur cut one of the monkeys in mid air. "A senile ghost blacksmith."

They slowly cleared a path toward Sam, before finally reaching him, the monkeys now starting to back away.

-= Floor 4 =-

The room was dark, with various strange plants growing out of the stone walls. There were several spotlights, but rather than illuminating, they served primarily to destroy everyone's night vision.

Then, the alternate Hagane's head flew off her shoulders as an unseen blade passed through her neck.

@SamJaz: @ChronoWolf:

The man who had joined the group previously had a grin on his face. In just a fraction of a second he drew all six blades he had and threw them in a circle around the entire room. Then a flash of lightning followed from each of the blades illuminating the room for a moment and revealing a female ninja hiding in the shadows. The man grinned again and as he did so one of the swords shot up back into his palm and from his palm directly into the woman's neck, killing her.

He silently proceeded to the stairs.

Floor 5

Floor 5 was bright again. It reminded one of a dojo. There was only one man, but a giant in his own right. His entire body looked like steel, as the team entered he slowly turned around. He had a beast like look on his face.

Alt Phantom seemed to be troubled by his presence and he opened fire as soon as he spotted the man. The bullets clashed with his body, pierced his skin and they truly drew blood too, but they did not affect the man. He continued his charge ignoring the pain. Phantom jumped up, barely avoid it. He shot the man from behind, both shots in the shoulders to disable his arms. As he landed he took the man into a grip locking him into position. The samurai of many swords used the opportunity, approached from behind and cut the man in half using two blades in a sisscor like motion. His legs feel to the ground while Phantom thew his torso to the side. The team moved on.

Floor 6

@Fehafare: @SamJaz:

Floor six was a simple, yet unexpectedly elegant. It looked like a small palace gardens, with rivers and plenty of red roofed traditional Japanese houses.

Sakura blossoms descended as a young girl with a single katana faced the team. Though she were a traditional kimono, she had removed it from the waist up, her chest and neck covered in tight leather, compressing her chest and leaving her arms room to move freely.

Her hair was short, slicked to her cheeks, and she smiled faintly before cannons fired upon the team.

@SamJaz: @ChronoWolf:

Phantom and Alt Phantom both took care of the canon fire, cutting and melting the projectiles before they could do any harm.

After that they quickly change their target, aiming for the girl.

@Fehafare: @ChronoWolf:

Swords cut through bullets and cards, but it was too much for her and eventually a card slit her jugular vein and a bullet clipped her knee, sending her to the ground and clutching her wounds.

Kelly quickly stomped on the girl's head, sending blood and grey matter all over the floor and leading the team's advance to the final floor of the tower.

@Fehafare: @SamJaz:

On the final floor, the Shogun waited. He was a lean and muscular man with black hair. And he was also completely human. A fact Yamato noticed first.

So he, turning into a giant demon-like being, grabbed him and ate him whole in an anti-climactic ending.

@ChronoWolf: @Fehafare:

"Of course he wouldn't give us a practice run." SamJaz said with a snarl, a wide staircase downwards opening up below them. "Well kids, it's been fun, but we have to fly."

Waving a quick salute to his counterpart, SamJaz hopped down the staircase, onto the next floor.

FLOOR -62

Aruu shrugged and stabbed his sword into the ground. A small table and two chairs, made of ice of course, sprouted out just a few feet away. On the table a chess set was located. Aruu and Yamato, looking completely normal again, sat there without saying a word.

Arthur payed no attention and just went down the staircase. Matt put his arm around Kelly and started walking towards the stairs. He was obviously creeped out by the actions of his counterpart.

Floor 62

The floor was a huge cavern-like room. Literally every inch of the caverns floor was covered in human bones. Arthur could feel a strange moisture in the air as well as a smell like rotten eggs.

What stuck out in the rooms were five large statues of dragons, as well as two knight statues standing in front of each dragon, as if guarding it. The knights were nowhere near as tall the dragons, but they were still easily two times the hight of anyone in FCL, three times compared to Arthur. Each dragon stood in one corner of the room, with the fifth one, the largest one standing in the very center.

When everyone stepped on the floor the eyes of the dragons lit up. Ones eyes became red and he and his knights were surrounded in fire. Ones eyes shone green, and he was ingulfed in a green, acid like substance. Ones eyes were sky blue, and a powerful wind, almost like a tornado, surrounded him and his knights. Ones eyes were a dirty green and he and his knights were surrounded by a large wall of rocks. The last ones eyes shone with pure gold. It was surrounded in light, and when Arthur tried looking at it his eyes started hurting.

The first dragon that stepped out of its element was the fire one. It was no longer a stone statue but a real dragon. It's scales were redder then heated metal, and the armor of it's knights was the same. Arthur could feel the heat radiating from it and he instinctively made himself an armor of ice.

Arthur guessed that they would have to fight the dragons, one by one, in the order their eyes lit up. And frankly, he didn't mind.

Sensing that Hitomi is the weakest member of the group it charged at her, it's knights going after Glinda and the untransformed Matt, who still had his arm around Kelly.

@ChronoWolf: @Fehafare:

SamJaz switched Persona to Ose, casting a Red Wall spell to grant everyone in the team a temporary resistance to flames. Unfortunately, this also sacrificed his complete immunity to fire that Black Frost offered, but if it meant protecting everyone from the one threat the enemy offered, then so be it.

Hagane summoned her lance, charging at one of the two knights to parry and skewer them, intending to learn their composition and break them down so the team could focus on the dragon.

Kelly scooped up the flames in her hands, winking at Matt as the fire danced, before compressing the flames into a white hot burst to launch back at the flying beast.

Hitomi took a deep breath. "JOOR ZAH FRUL!" She shouted, hoping it would do something.

@Fehafare: @SamJaz:

Completely ignoring the foolish humans attempts at dragon language, the fire dragon slashed at Hitomi with it's giant claw from the side and back and it moved it's head so as to block any escape, effectively making the only place for Hitomi to dodge it's sharp, hot-as-fire, claws into it's gapping mouth.

It completely ignored the the returned fire from Kelly.

The knight jumped back. Hagane obviously underestimated it's speed. It landed far enough away to summon a spear of fire in it's hand. The spear was hotter then the sun, but radiated non of it into the enviroment. It tossed it at Hagane. The other knight, seeing it's brother being challanged, charge at Hagane from the back, braking the sound barrier in the process.

@ChronoWolf: @Fehafare:

Torn to choose between defending the front or the back, SamJaz hesitated slightly.

Fortunately, Hitomi made that choice for him. Needle in hand, she vaulted onto the dragon's head and sewed its mouth shut with powerful titanium thread.

Charging in, SamJaz plunged a swordblade into the dragon's throat, drenching him in the boiling black blood as the dragon struggled for breath.

Within seconds, it was done, leaving the two knights to face the team.

@SamJaz: @ChronoWolf:

Phantom was about to attack the knights, but stood still as he noticed two swords impale the knights, an electrical surge breaking the armor and frying them in the process. It was the same silent man from the previous floor, it seemed like he had sipped through the staircase after FCL.

"I'll be coming along."

@Fehafare: @ChronoWolf:

"Welcome aboard!" SamJaz shouted, pulling the blades from the dragon's throat and looking around as Hitomi hopped off the dragon, examining it while Hagane examined the dead knights.

@Fehafare: @SamJaz:

Unfortunately, they didn't have much time for their autopsy as the acid dragon came next. Green and very corrosive acid covered it's scales as well as the knights armor.

They choose to gang up on a single person this time. They went after the new guy with the swords, hoping the acid would eat through his swords with ease. To distract the rest the Dragon spat acid on them. Acid that eats through armor and skin with te sme ease.

@ChronoWolf: @Fehafare:

SamJaz twirled his evoker, pressing it to his head and pulling the trigger to summon Kumbhanda to tackle the dragon. The poison-user was not physically strong, but revelled in all poisons and diseases and would buy the team enough time to get their artillery together.

Hitomi was not sewing this one shut.

Hagane scraped one knight with her spear, then slammed her hand to the ground. Steam rose up around the team, the gas would condense on everyone's skin and armour and form droplets of a slightly alkali antibody that react to the acid and render it harmless.

Post by ChronoWolf (2,253 posts) See mini bio Level 12

@SamJaz: @Fehafare:

Seeing the new threat, Acid and his knights changed their target. The knights rushed at Sam's persona, grabbed its arms and holding it in place for the dragon to swollow it in one gulp. And when it did it let out a roar of pain. The persona's resistance to poison also meant that it was poisonus itself. The dragons fell on it's belly some blood coming out of it's mouth, and shed a big, crimson red tear, before becoming completely motionless.

While the knights were distracted by their masters pain, Matt as Galantus pierced the heart of one. Before the other could react, he killed that one as well.

The next one to come was the wind dragon. As it exited it's protection, followed closely by it's knights whose shields covered their whole bodies, an extremely powerful wind filled the room. The wind made it near impossible to move around in any way. The only ones who culd move freely were the knights and the dragon it self. The dragon flew into the air, almost reaching the cealing, and started spewing lightning at all of FCL at the same time. Wings suddenly appeared on the backs of the knights who flew, carring their shield, into the air to protect the dragon.

@ChronoWolf: @Fehafare:

SamJaz grinned, standing up in the wind, mouth wide like a wolf as he stood against the wind, clapping his hands together as purple mist began to surrounded him. He bounced on the balls of his feet, building momentum as he glared at the dragon like a hungry animal lusting after a piece of meat.

"So light 'em up." SamJaz said, jumping into the air and vanishing into the air. One knight was pushed to the ground, a shoeprint embossed into his cracking armour.

The second knight, into the ceiling, and blood sprayed from the dragon's neck as SamJaz landed against the wall, axe in hand.

The knights returned to duty, and the pattern repeated. Flowmotion to ride the wind and bounce off knights and attack the dragon, SamJaz rode their trap and used it to achieve distance and momentum to match the impossible speeds of flowmoton.

It was watching like watching a fly with a machete. Fast, light, yet with relentless force without effort.

@Fehafare: @SamJaz:

As soon as the dragon was dead the wind stopped. Both knights lost their wing and roared in pain, jumping at the slayer, the murderer. But they fell without much trouble.

The walls of stone broke around the fourth dragon. It looked like a giant Komodo dragon, it's scales made of the hardest stone, the armor of it's knight made of the same materials. These knights didn't carry shields, they don't need them, all they need are their giant greatswords.

The dragon slammed it's foot (paw?) and an earthquake was felt. A second later, giant spikes popped out of the ground, avoiding only the dragon, the sphere of light in the center and the bodies of the fallen dragons and their knights. This dragon didn't have any special breath, for all it needed was it's toad-like tongue, which it used as a whip.
