Plot

The series takes place in the near future, when it is possible to instantaneously measure and quantify a person's state of mind and personality. This information is recorded and processed, and the term "Psycho-Pass" in the anime's title refers to a standard used to measure an individual's being. The story centers around the "enforcement officer" Shinya Kōgami, played by Tomokazu Seki, who is tasked with managing crime in such a world.

Started watching it recently. It's not a bad show. It can get a little too chatty at times but I don't really mind it that much. It reminds me a lot of the Ghost in The Shell anime, especially since on the latest issue they introduced the concept of completely cyberizing your body, something that was shown a lot in GITS. Not that this is a bad thing of course. The Psycho-Pass is an interesting idea, although tbh I wouldn't want to live in a world like this where getting a little agitated can brand you as a latent criminal and lose all your rights.
